Vista Support

Windows Vista introduced several changes that caused installation problems for several components of Cosmos GRM 4.0, including the Microsoft SQL Server. Therefore, installation of Cosmos 4.0 on Windows Vista requires using internally developed workarounds that result in a complicated manual installation process. Cosmos 4.0.1 can now be installed directly on top of Windows Vista.

Import Performance

We have made changes that speed up several frequently used imports. For example, Cosmos 4.0.1 can now import data at over twice the speed as Cosmos 4.0 by identifying types of market IDs in an import file.

Database Schema

Cosmos 4.0.1 has an expanded database schema that allows optimal performance across a much wider range of dates.

Office 2007 Component Compatibility

Cosmos 4.0.1 works correctly on systems using Microsoft Office 2007; Microsoft Office components are used effectively in the import and export modules of Cosmos.
