We are pleased to announce the availability of Barra Portfolio Manager, the next generation of MSCI’s portfolio management tools. Barra Portfolio Manager is designed to help equity portfolio managers and their teams build better portfolios. The first release delivers a broad range of risk and performance analytics in an easy-to-learn, easy-to-customize, integrated platform. Later releases of Barra Portfolio Manager will add portfolio construction and other tools.

The new, hosted Barra Portfolio Manager offers clients:

• A low-cost-of-ownership alternative for equity portfolio management software, delivered through a secure, hosted platform.
