Twenty years ago Barr Rosenberg Associates launched a newsletter to communicate with the subscribers to the original U.S. equity model.

The BARRA Newsletter has since gone through several re-designs, each time adding new content and focus. Horizon, our latest revision, will continue to detail BARRA's research, use of our products, and general information about everything from our current business to new developments. We hope you'll enjoy this new edition, and we welcome your feedback and comments.

1979: BARRA launches first bond model, for the U.S. market

1984: Andrew Rudd becomes president of BARRA

1989: Global Bond Model (GLOBO) and World Markets Model are released

1993: Alphabuilder, BARRA's first Windows-based product, is released.
